6 Ghosts [Voice; English]

Okay, seriously, can someone please explain this thing to me?  I mean, I saw a couple of very definitely dead people over the past week.  I might be a C student, but I do know that death is kind of a permanent thing.  And by permanent I mean not something you wake up and walk away from. 

So why is everyone coming back?  Is this entire city populated by zombies or ghosts or something?

The scientists appear to be able to revive the dead. Possibly related to how we were brought here.

Death does not function...normally, in this place. The deceased are reborn as if they had never died to begin with.


I have...not seen any ghosts, however.

Danny has already been introduced to the story of the Rail Tracer. And his many minions.

I have also...heard of them, but I have not seen any. I am not sure where they would be originating from, as there is no Netherworld here...

I heard some kid was possessed by one, and was behind a lot of the stuff that goes on here.

Um, netherworld? Is that like the Ghost Zone?

There are lots of ghosts, you just can't see them. They're everywhere. The original residents of the city, there was some sort of plague and a lot of them died. Their spirits, or echos possibly, still wander the streets.

If the scientists have some kind of power to take us from our own home--galaxies away--then they could very well have the power to bring the dead back to life, which they are using.

Either case, questioning it might not be best--at least not for now.

Do people die? Yes. Do they come back like nothing ever happened? Not unless they're ghosts. And then they have quite a few other things to worry about.

The dead coming back is not so unusual to Gaia, however it is either because the Lifestream sent them back, or one of the healing spells was casted before their spirit has fully departed.

Not everyone's died, but it isn't uncommon to lose at least one life here.

... And I've never thought about it that way. Guess that makes me a zombie, huh? I died back home, but I haven't died here since I arrived.

Not sure. There's ways to bring people back from the dead back home, but those are forbidden techniques. You need the ashes of the deceased and a still living host body for it, among other things. ... but that doesn't seem to be how they're bringing people back. Too complicated, takes too long, and people revive in the same bodies they've been in.
