[Danny had turned on the communicator, planning on asking Sam a question.  But before he can say anything he freezes, staring at something across the room.   His face twists into an expression of complete loss and devastation, even as he jumps jerkily to his feet and screams.]

No!  Mom!  Dad!  Jazz!  Sam!

I did this.  This is all my fault.  I couldn't save you.

Danny. [ghasdf this is hard. She understand why he doesn't believe her, as much as it pains her to admit it; if what he's seeing as bad as what she is, she gets it.] Would you just - pretend I'm real for a little while, then? Because I don't know if I can make it with you acting like I'm dead.

[She can't take that right now. It's the ultimate cognitive dissonance: she knows he's fine, that everyone is fine, but the hallucinations are strong. Furtively, she releases him and wipes her sleeve against her eyes.]

Look, Danny.. I'm going to be in my bedroom. If you need me, that's - I'll be there, or on the network, okay? Just call for me.
