[Mikey chokes and drops the mug as the coffee screams, luckily the mug doesn't shatter, but the puddle of coffee on the floor could only account for less quarter of what was in there.]
It screamed! Never mind how much I drunk! It just screamed! As I was drinking it!
[Don is equally as horrified as the coffee in a completely different way. And the horror quickly gives away to exasperation. In what messed up world did a sip equal downing nearly an entire mug full of his precious brew?]
I might just scream, too.
[He's in agreement that the screaming was creepy, but it was still his coffee!
Now the remaining coffee is just making whimpering sobs. Don sighs and goes to get a towel, dropping it onto the spill and putting it out of its misery. It lets out one last cry of "Oh what a world, what a world!" as the cloth absorbs it.]
There. The horrible talking coffee is dead, Mikey.
[Point. Don sighs and reaches up to pat Mikey's shell. Oh, there would be "instant" karma for this moment of trauma once the caffeine hit, even though that wasn't really how karma worked. But for now, Don had to comfort his little brother.]
It's better that way, Mikey. I would have drank it slowly. You put it quickly out of its misery.

He just gave Mikey coffee. He just gave Mikey Coffee. HE JUST GAVE MIKEY COFFEE.]
