[Danny rubs the back of his head sheepishly, carefully avoiding the large bruise covering one side of his face.  He looks completely exhausted, but cheerful.]

No one would believe that, coming from me. But make them believe I'm just a bratty teenager that likes to get in trouble? No one pats attention to anything I do. Everyone knows teenagers do crazy things.

That almost makes a dangerous amount of sense. .... and I'd be worried if you startled talking like I do, sometimes. Might check you for a fever.
