The Hero
Danny is a ghost and a hero, but he never forgets that he is also a human.
Superman (It's Not Easy) - Five for Fighting
I can't stand to fly
I'm not that naive
I'm just out to find the better part of me
I'm more than a bird
More than a plane
More then some pretty face beside a train
And its not easy to be me
Wish that I could cry
Fall upon my kness
Find a way to lie about a home I'll never see
It may sound absurd
Don't be naive
Even heroes have the right to bleed
I may be disturbed
Won't you concede?
Even heroes have a right to dream.
I have often dreamed
Of a far off place
Where a heroes welcome would be waiting for me
Where the crowds would cheer when they see my face
And a voice keeps saying this is where I'm meant to be.
Cause when push comes to shove
You taste what you're made of
You might bend, till you break
Cause its all you can take
On your knees you look up
Decide you've had enough
You get mad you get strong
Wipe your hands shake it off
Then you Stand, Then you stand
His Story
We were strangers on a crazy adventure
never dreaming how our dreams would come true
now here we stand
unafraid of the future
at the beginning with you.
Before he became a half-ghost Danny was just the normal and forgettable son of the outrageously eccentric Fenton family
Changing faces
Take a look at me first
There's so much more to being me to say
Tired of fightin' to be heard
I've been waiting, where's my turn?
Hold my heart out up to you
How nice to be ordinary
Time out, can't pretend anymore
I'd like to know if you hear what I'm sayin' now
I'd like to be myself for a while
Just me...
Mr. Cellophane - Chicago
Cellophane
Mister Cellophane
Shoulda been my name
Mister Cellophane
'Cause you can look right through me
Walk right by me
And never know I'm there...
Then the accident happened. For the first few months Danny would have given anything to go back to his normal life.
Yesterday all my troubles seemed so far away
Now it looks as though they're here to stay
I believe in yesterday
Suddenly I'm not half the man I used to be
theres a shadow hanging over me
Oh yesterday came suddenly
All Star - Smash Mouth
So much to do so much to see
So what's wrong with taking the back streets
You'll never know if you don't go
You'll never shine if you don't glow
Hey now you're an All Star get your game on, go play
Hey now you're a Rock Star get the show on get paid
And all that glitters is gold
Only shooting stars break the mold
No More - Into the Woods
Can't we just pursue our lives
With our children and our wives?
'Till that happy day arrives,
How do you ignore
All the witches,
All the curses,
All the wolves, all the lies,
The false hopes, the goodbyes,
The reverses,
All the wondering what even worse is
Still in store?
Maybe I can stand alone
Maybe I'm strong as stone
Even though the bird has flown
Maybe he'll fly on home
But his life as a hero brought new friends and fantastic new experiences as well.
I fell through the cracks at the end of our street
Lets go to the beach
get the sound through our feet
Bring on the wonder
Bring on the song
I pushed you down deep in my soul for too long
All of your sorrow, grief and pain
locked away in the forest of the night
Your secret heart belongs to the world
of the things that sigh in the dark
of the things that cry in the dark.
They don't know that I go running home when I fall down
They don't know who picks me up when no one is around
I drop my sword and and cry for just a while
'Cause deep inside this armor
the warrior is a child
What would any hero be without enemies. Danny's rogue gallery is made up of ghost villains of every description.
When the Night Wind Howls - Ruddigore
When the night wind howls in the chimney cowls, and the bat in the moonlight flies,
And inky clouds, like funeral shrouds, sail over the midnight skies –
When the footpads quail at the night-bird's wail, and black dogs bay at the moon,
Then is the spectres' holiday – then is the ghosts' high-noon!
Slime Creatures from Outer Space - Weird Al Yankovic
They were ugly, they were mean,
Biggest heads I ever seen.
They made everybody scream and shout.
First they leveled Tokyo,
Then New York was next to go.
Boy, I really wish they'd cut it out!
They wasted everybody on my block.
There goes the neighborhood.
They'll zap you with their death-ray eyes,
And blow you up real good.
ghostbusters - Ray Parker Jr
If you're seeing things
running through your head
Who can ya call?
GHOSTBUSTERS
An invisible man
sleeping in your bed
Who ya gonna call?
GHOSTBUSTERS
I ain't afraid of no ghosts
I ain't afraid of no ghosts
Who ya gonna call?
GHOSTBUSTERS
