This... has been one of the weirdest weeks of my life.  And considering my life?  That is definitely saying something.

But more to the point.  Don!  Stop blaming yourself right now.  You didn't make me go along with it.  It was my decision.

And that goes for everyone else too.  It was just as much my fault that we got hurt.  We were stupid, okay?  But everything turned out fine.

Yeah. I have to. I don't think I can keep going on like this. Not when there are things happening I know I could stop. If I had been able to use my powers last week... Well, you know.

That's why I'm telling you now. I think I'm going to have to disappear when that happens.

Washu told me once that she was willing. If the location was ever discovered again. And Don thinks she can be trusted. I haven't asked yet, but I guess I'll try her first.

...I haven't told Don about the plan to disappear. And... I'm not really planning to. I don't think he really gets just how dangerous it could be for everyone. And plausible deniability, right? He's in enough trouble already with his brothers.

...Thanks. I don't really know what's going to happen. If I can make it through this and keep my secret. But I can't just let things continue as they are.

I guess the only positive is that there aren't any professional ghost hunters here. Not like we had at home.

Well, I've been thinking about what I would have to do for a long time. I think I'll be okay.

[Which would be why he isn't mentioning any of the other preparations. Jazz hadn't known about just how bad that first month had been. And he'd prefer if she didn't find out just how bad he was expecting it to be.]
