[Fail Locked to Turtles 30%]

Hey, guys?  I was going through some of the stuff Mom left behind.  And I think some of it is for you.  Well. I'm pretty sure.  I don't know why else she would have had four pairs of supersized boxers lying around.  With your names written on the waistbands.  Repeatedly.

[/Locked to Turtles]

Hey Xellos?  I got an offer to stay with some friends for a few days, so I'm headed out.  You can have my bed, if you're sick of hanging out on the couch.  Which I still think is hysterical, by the way.

[With his messages delivered, Danny turns away from the camera.   Of course, not realizing that he had forgotten to shut it off.  He kneels down on the floor and begins packing a number of odd devices into a large backpack.]

Fenton Thermos, Fenton Emergency Pack, Fenton Utility Weapon, Fenton Machete, Fenton Collapsing Anti-Ghost Staff....

You know, for once I can't complain about Mom always being so ridiculously overprepared.  I have the feeling this is all going to come in very handy.

Wait, what? It failed?

[quickly checks the post]

Oh man, this is a disaster! I don't know how to fix those after they're posted!

Shhh, let me have my moment of panic.

... actually, I think I'm done now. It's not like we wear much anyways. Having a shell does have its advantages...

Man, you got over that easily. Back home I sometimes thought my parents were trying to cause death by parental humiliation. People used to start running in the other direction when they saw them coming.

I'm only getting over it easily because I'm not the only one.

... ... ... ... Wow. That's... wow, Danny. Although I'm pretty sure Master Splinter could do that if he wanted to.

You're right. Come to my funeral when your brothers find out?

...They accused my English teacher of being a ghost and chased him for weeks. Because he was wearing a halloween mask. They got banned for life from every amusement park with a haunted house attraction within 500 miles. And everytime Mom tried to bake a bundt cake to welcome the new neighbors it tried to eat them.

Eh, they like you. You'll probably only get permanently maimed.

... ... ... ... ... ... Not only is that horrible, but this makes me wonder what our mother would be like if she had been mutated like us.

[A pause as something suddenly occurs to him.]

Oh and.. uhm. I'm going to have to show you how to arm and disarm the traps in the apartment....

Wonderful. Something to look forward to.

...And those are some of the milder things they've done.

Traps? You have a security system? What kind?

Hey, you're getting off easy.

... Ouch.

Uhm. ... ninja traps, mostly. Low-tech but still potent. I'm still.. not completely decided on whether to take Minato as my sensei or not, but he's been teaching me what he knows about traps. Thinks I can get better at him pretty quickly.

Sounds like it could work as a security system. Well, hopefully a little more sane than the one we have at home.

I wish I had the materials to make the one I have back home. ... let me guess. Your parents?

Yep. The Fenton Anti-Ghost Alarm System. Though it worked pretty good at terrifying humans too.

... I'm kinda terrified just thinking about it.

Hey, it was almost harmless towards non-ghosts. Well, it wouldn't do any permanent damage to humans. As long as you didn't mind losing some of your sanity.
