19 Ghosts [Accidental Video]

[The video turns on with a clatter to show a sleeping Danny.  He had obviously just rolled over and accidentally hit the communicator onto the floor.  He wakes slightly at the sound and rolls out of bed sleepily.]

Oh.  Right.  Have to get to class.  Why does it have to start so early?

[Rubbing his eyes, the teen walks across the room. 

...And right into the wall next to the door.  Danny yelps and falls backward as the very solid wall fails to let him pass through.]

[Donatello crosses his arms, looking slightly suspicious. But it's obvious he'll drop the subject if Danny really doesn't want to talk about it. :| BUT FIRST, he's going to tell you know he doesn't believe you one shelling bit.]

[Danny grins wryly. Okay so he knew Donny had an idea of what he was. And Donny knew he was hiding something big. But as long as he never admitted to what it was, everything would be fine. He hoped.

Now he only had to survive this self defense lesson without looking suspicious.]

Oh, you know. The usual. Flying, turning invisible, walking through walls. Most of them have some sort of unique ability too.

[Walking through walls. Like Danny just tried now. And earlier with the Marionettes. And how he tried to use a "unique ability".

Donny is finding it hard to put anything else in that filing cabinet in his mind labeled "Danny Fenton".

He shifts, but otherwise doesn't say his suspicions. He wants a bit more sufficient evidence before he considers trying to confront Danny about being so horrible at lying. Really.

... It almost didn't seem possible, what Donny was thinking. Danny said he was human. But it sounded like he had ghost abilities as well. Or maybe he was simply like an X-man?

Either way, he doesn't want to tell Danny what he suspects in case Danny freaks. He's trying so hard to keep his abilities hidden. It's definitely not something that should be discussed over the network, actually confronting him. No, that's something that should be done more private.]

"Unique abilities?" Could you give a few examples? I don't understand this ghost thing all that well yet.

You'd have to ask Mom about all the technical details. I do know that a lot of the ghosts who turned up around town seemed to have some kind of special ability that kind of went with their theme. Like, there was this very disturbed ghost of a lunch lady who attacked my school. She could control meat.

A ghost of a lunch lady. That's a far cry from Gozer. [Wait. Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.] ..... or maybe not. Good to know that ghosts can be as ridiculous in real life as they are in movies.

Oh, if you want ridiculous we definitely had them. There was this one ghost who kept turning up in all the janitor's closets ranting about the marvelous squareness of all the empty boxes. He could control them. The boxes, I mean.
