So, I've been hearing a lot about how different everyone's world is.  And I got to wondering something.  How many people here had ghosts at their homes?  And what kinds of ghosts were they?

Wow, guess that really would kill off any doubts.

Well yeah, some are like mediators between worlds. There are itako who are able to summon spirits, and then there are shaman who can integrate with them.

Just realized these two are neighbors.

Form something called an oversoul, using a weapon or their own body to harbour the spirit in order to take on certain powers, depending on the ghost. Shamans usually have spirits partners they work together with so don't often go switching around ghosts. I certainly have a lot of faith in mine.

Oh, yes. Especially if Danny ever gets his chip out.

What, like overshadowing? And you just volunteer to let them turn you into meatpuppets? Man, Dad would be throwing a fit if he heard about that.

Well Horo has his out, so Danny will at least see some weird stuff going on next door. XD

It's not like being possessed. There's trust between a shaman and their spirit ally, we work as a team, it's like we're friends. I know I value Kororo greatly, and I would trust her in any fight, now that my chip is out and I can see her again.

He will be so incredibly confused.

Eh, actually two. Kororo is my partner and the other one, Bason, is allied to my roommate and teammate from home.

I can't deicde whether he can see them with his chip in or not.

And they don't cause any trouble?

Depends if it is a genetic ability I believe.

I don't know why. Just that most ghosts seem to spend an awful lot of effort causing trouble.

That would probably need a chip removal, least to me. Horo couldn't see ghosts till his came out.

Well sure, but I've met very few like that, most just want to be left in peace, or...have parties in graveyards.
