[It starts with the sounds of harsh breathing and rapid footsteps.]

Am I safe? Did I lose them?

[A pause and a loud skidding sound followed by a thump, as Danny takes a sharp turn and ducks inside an alley.]

I mean, seriously, what is this? A creepy abandoned city? Monsters everywhere? Did someone decide to take a few cues from one of those lame horror movies? Is a little originality too much to ask for?

This is so not what I had planned for the weekend.

The only "exit" I've seen is when the scientists send you home. Other than that, you're stuck here. And if you have any sort of powers, they're blocked by a chip that's been implanted in you.

Hmm, where to start! There's animals that walk on two feet and can talk--I'm good friends with a few of them. There's probably at least a couple dozen different magic systems working here simultaneously. And there's a bunch of people running around that are actually not people, but countries.
