[Danny is slumped facedown on the couch - and doesn't look like he'll be moving any time soon.  After a few moments he sleepily raises the communicator and mumbles into it,]

Is everyone okay?  No more ghosts anywhere?

And Jazz?  Can I talk to you about something?

It's nice to meet you too!

How long have you been here? Did any of the ghosts come and bother you, too?

I've been here almost ten months, now.

...And no. They didn't. Because I was hiding.

I wish I knew to hide from them...I had no idea that they were even wandering about until one dropped in on me...literally.

Could you tell me next time they are coming? You know. Just in case. I'd like to...avoid them too...

The second ghost that came was nice. And the first one wasn't mean or anything..but they both startled me.

...Just listen for the screams. And my Mom.

Ghosts do that. It's usually best to just stay out of their way and leave the fighting to the professionals.

And your mom?

Does she scream louder than everyone else...?

No, she'll be the one charging straight for them and very loudly warning all the civilians to get out of the way.

[He's clearly contemplating this, perplexed.]

That's not how I'd expect one to catch up to a ghost. And I actually didn't see or hear her the other day. The ghost that came was a boy. He was nice, and he had a thermos, and was not yelling at me or charging at anything...

I take it you haven't met many ghost-hunters.

[Now that Danny looked, he did recognize the kid. One of the peoploe he'd rescued the other day.

...How did he always end up in these situations?
]

You might not want to mention that too much. Ghosts don't exactly have great reputation for being nice.

I haven't actually met any ghost hunters.

[Luke was staring at the communicator, and the way Danny was looking back was reminding him that he still wasn't quite convinced he'd not met Danny before.]

I won't say anything about it if I shouldn't, but neither of them were mean...

....It's more ghost-hunters in general. They're usually very enthusiastic and forgetful about things like collateral damage. Not to mention trigger-happy.

Ah. Enthusiasm is good, but not if you hurt half of the people you are trying to help..
