AU History:
Danny grew up in Kaisou. He’s an only child, with parents that are affectionate, but very busy. And so he has been left to his own devices a lot.
He has a strong interest in astronomy and space, and can often be found on the weekends setting up his telescope. He has thought about becoming an astronaut, but isn’t sure yet whether he wants to pursue that in college or not. Lately he’s also started to take an interest in engineering and in tinkering with gadgets.
He likes terrible monster movies and video games. He’s not much of a reader, unless its something he’s interested in.
He attends the local high school, where his favorite classes are sciences. He’s not in any clubs or extracurriculars, but he’s been thinking about joining some.

- Danny is a little more confident than his canon self, due to never dealing with the bullying that came from being a member of “that weird ghost hunting family”.
- Danny is less paranoid. Here he hasn’t had to live under the constant stress of a double life, so he’s not looking for an attack around every corner. And he’s also a little more naive and much more willing to trust people.
- In canon Danny spent a lot of time doubting himself when it came to school, and comparing himself to his family of geniuses. Even though he had the ability to do well in school, he never found the motivation to apply himself. Here he is far more confident in his ability to do well, and was able to pursue some of his interests.
- Danny…. does not believe in ghosts.
