40 Ghosts [text/action; locked to roommates] backdated to Dec. 20
[Danny sits on his bed tightly holding a cloth to his shoulder and trying to clean the salt out of his shoulder. He'd made it back to his room. Eventually. Who knew getting shot with salt would hurt this much? He just lies there for a moment, breathing harshly and clutching his shoulder, before he forces himself to reach for his communicator.
This sucked. He just knew anyone he asked for help would freak out. But of course he just had to get shot in a spot he couldn't bandage on his own.]

Jazz? Don? Are you home right now?

[And Don knocks at the door a minute later, first aid kit under his arm and holding the water bucket with the same arm to leave one free.]
Danny?

Hey, Don. Sorry about bothering you for this again.

[Don immediately looks worried, but doesn't speak again until he's inside and the door is closed.]
How did you reinjure your shoulder?
Re: Commentlog

[Don goes to open the first aid kit on the bed after he sets the water bucket on Danny's desk.]
All right. Let's see it.
Re: Commentlog
[Danny sighs, and removes the layers of cloth to show that not only has the mostly healed burn reopened, but the entire shoulder area is covered by a rapidly darkening bruise.]
Commentlog
[Don turns around to see the wound properly, eye ridges furrowed in worry.]
I'll have to definitely clean this out and rebandage it....
Re: Commentlog

The only way I can clean that out properly is to pour water over it. Think you can sneak into the bathroom? I have the water in the bucket sanitized from earlier, but we don't want a puddle in the middle of the floor.
Re: Commentlog

[Don gives a thumbs up and collects the kit and bucket back up, opening the door to head out. He looks around to make sure that no one's coming and keeps it open long enough for Danny to slip through. Then, it's off to the bathroom.]
Re: Commentlog

He closes the door after a long moment and lets out a sigh of relief.]
There. I think we're in the clear.
Re: Commentlog
You don't have to keep doors open for me, you know.
Re: Commentlog
[Don closes the toilet lid and sets the bucket on top of it, then grabs a big plastic cup.]
I'll need you to sit on the edge of the tub and make sure your shoulder's over it to avoid dripping on the floor.]
Re: Commentlog
Just pointing it out.
And I can do that.
[He makes his way over to the tub.]
Re: Commentlog
I'm afraid that this is going to hurt. ... You ready?
Re: Commentlog
Commentlog
[Don slowly pours the cup of water over the wound to clean it out. He knows that it'll take multiple cups to get it clean enough to bandage, so he's glad that Danny has a high pain tolerance.]
Re: Commentlog

I think I'll have to do this a few more times. [A pause.] ... So tell me about this new ghost hunter.
